Art lovers rejoice!  Eye Candy Gallery, in downtown Southern Pines, North Carolina, is not your ordinary "stuffy" art gallery & boasts a fantastic collection of local & regional art, a wine bar, free wifi, and even a Wii!

Virtually every medium of art is represented and the Gallery is proud to present a variety of vibrant emerging artists as well as a number of critically acclaimed artists.

Wilder Rich began her career as an artist in third grade when she was asked to install a chalk drawing on the community blackboard at her school. She studied art through high school and later at Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC. The artist found her place in the art world as a department store advertising illustrator and later as a freelance commercial artist.

Through the years in graphic design, Wilder continued to indulge her interest in painting by also competing as a fine artist. Her work won awards, was accepted in juried shows and displayed in single gallery showings. It wasn’t until 2003, however, that she put all her time into painting.

“The years I spent as a graphic designer taught me to tell a story with my art,” she says. “Now, my intent is for the passion I have for the things I see to show in my work through the grammar of brush stroke and texture and light.”
